"Great Care Delivered" is the promise that we make to our customers, and it all starts with our ingredients! As a Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for blending the highest-quality ingredients to create the first- class medications that our furry friends deserve.


Essential Functions:
- Prepare and compound high-quality non-sterile medications (capsules, liquids, topicals, tablets, treats) tailored to patient needs
- Accurately label prescriptions and prepackage bulk medications
- Manage inventory levels, including reordering and receiving supplies
- Maintain a clean, compliant work environment through scheduled cleaning and validation testing
- Apply strong attention to detail, math skills, and focus to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Meet or exceed prescription preparation metrics to ensure timely delivery to veterinarians and pet owners
- Identify and recommend improvements that align with Lean and Continuous Improvement principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and enhance quality.


Physical Requirements (if applicable):

- Able to stand up for prolonged period of time (duration of shift) and routinely lift up to 25 lbs.
- Fit testing for respirator required.
- Continuous, concentrated mental and visual effort to plan and perform work.
- Work involves slight physical risks, including hazardous chemicals, that require following basic safety precautions.


Required Credentials:

- Obtained a High School Diploma or GED
- Obtained a Certified Pharmacy Technician license through the AZ State Board of Pharmacy
