Job Summary:
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Inventory and Receiving
Essential Functions:
- Performs verification and reverse distribution of expired medication.
- Manages all "Bulk Transfers" from chemical storage to Compounding floor.
- Daily maintenance of the chemical storage and stock rooms.
- Receives and returns merchandise to and from vendors, includes resolution of invoice discrepancies.
- Manages inventory par levels (secondary responsibility).
- Replenishes medications and supplies (secondary responsibility).
- Restocks daily supplies of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Maintains "Out of Stock" list (secondary responsibility).
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested by management, pharmacist or shift leader.
- The Company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
- Any other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Must pay close attention to detail.
- Must possess basic knowledge of the language and terminologies used in the pharmaceutical field.
- Must possess the ability to take initiative and problem solve.
- Must possess the ability to present oneself as well as the company in a professional manner.
- Must possess the ability to meet challenges resourcefully.
Physical Requirements (if applicable):
- Ability to use a computer keyboard.
- Position requires good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand or walk during normal course of the day.
Required Credentials:
- Pharmacy Technician or Technician Trainee license issued by the Arizona Board of Pharmacy highly preferred.
- Formal training in non-sterile compounding or equivalent experience preferred.
