Job Summary:

As a Material Handler, you will play a key role in supporting the compounding area by ensuring technicians have the materials, tools, and inventory they need to stay focused on production. Your work directly impacts workflow, efficiency, and the timely delivery of medications.


Essential Functions:

- Restock materials and supplies and maintain accurate inventory levels in the compounding lab to ensure continuous workflow.
- Prepare and stage materials and kits needed for upcoming orders.
- Label materials accurately and ensure all inventory is properly identified.
- Ensure all materials are placed and stored following proper processes (including FIFO where applicable).
- Communicate effectively with Leadership.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of lab inventory areas (5S).
- Follow all safety, quality, and compliance standards within the compounding environment to ensure an effective workflow and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested by management, pharmacists, or shift leaders
- Comply with Wedgewood's policies and procedures and all appropriate regulations.

- Experience in warehouse, inventory, or production support roles is a plus


Additional Information:

- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by pharmacy and regulatory standards.
- Must comply with all company confidentiality and patient privacy requirements (HIPAA-related).
- Availability to work various shifts, overtime, or weekends based on business needs.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment, including proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA guidelines.


Physical Requirements (if applicable):

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the duration of the shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks, carts, and other non-motorized warehouse tools.
- Required Education and/or Experience:
- High School or equivalent
