From the very beginning, Vantage West Credit Union existed to suit the needs of the community. In 1955, we started in a one-room barrack at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base with the mission to help Tucson’s airmen and their families. Back then, the humble DMAFB Federal Credit Union, as we were then known, served a little under 600 Members and had less than $60,000 in assets. By the end of the 1960s, we had already grown to nearly 14,000 Members, sowing the seeds for the rapid growth we would see in the decades to come.
Situated directly on the Chandler-Gilbert border, it sits at the northeast corner of S Cooper Rd and E Ray Rd, just across from the Chandler municipal boundary.
