The 100-acre golf course was built in 1913 and was seeded with Bermuda grass the following year, making it the first green grass golf course in Arizona. Fifteen years later in 1928, the course was relocated to its present-day location & redesigned with a sprinkler system. Fresh off a multi-million-dollar renovation, today the 18-hole San Marcos Golf Course sits on 90 well-manicured acres and includes a state-of-the-art irrigation system that produces premium playing conditions year-round, expanded lakes, new tee boxes, reconstructed bunkers with new sand, and green enlargements on a handful of holes. The result is a strategically diverse and visually stunning layout that makes for an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all playing abilities.
