Event Description:
Come experience an ancient Native American farming tradition and explore companion planting with the Museum of Science and Sustainability at Tumbleweed Ranch. You’ll have the chance to experiment with a water-conserving sub-irrigation method and make your own green onion preservation system that can last for months without refrigeration. The program is free. Drop by anytime between 10am-1pm. Hosted by the Chandler Museum. Enjoy science experiments with the whole family. Programming done in partnership with the Museum of Science and Sustainability. Join us one Saturday every month, October - May, 10am-1pm, Tumbleweed Ranch (located at Tumbleweed Park, 2250 S. McQueen Road), Free*.
