When Work Works (Sloan Awards)

The Chandler Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the Arizona winners of the 2014 When Work Works, formerly known as the Alfred P. Sloan Awards for Excellence in Workplace Effectiveness and Flexibility for their exemplary workplace practices.

The Chandler Chamber of Commerce is the official host of the event and will recognize recipients of the When Work Works Sloan Awards for Excellence in Workplace Effectiveness and Flexibility at a lunch ceremony at 11:30 am on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort and Spa.

Given by Families and Work Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management, When Work Works recognizes employers that have distinguished themselves in Arizona and across the country. When Work Works winners are identified through a rigorous selection process, which involves an evaluation of employers’ flexibility programs and practices from telecommuting, to job sharing, to phased retirement programs, and a confidential employee survey.
