Petroglyphs: Ancient Art and Stories in the Rocks

Join Chandler Museum and Chandler Public Library for the first presentation in the Our Stories speaker series called, History Found in the Land (January through March 2018). The Phoenix area is rich in archaeological history. Over thousands of years, people use this land and left their mark in the form of petroglyphs that can be found etched into the mountains surrounding our cities. Explore this history through a unique presentation from the Deer Valley Petroglyph Preserve, a local archaeology site and museum that is home to the largest concentration of Native American petroglyphs in the Phoenix area.
