World War II Navy veteran and Sun Lakes resident Jack Holder describes his military experiences from surviving the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941 to flying missions during the Battles of Midway, Guadalcanal and the Solomon Islands. In 1943, Jack served in England with a B-24 group, flying reconnaissance and anti-submarine duty. He received many medals and commendations for his service. Presentations in this series are presented by the Chandler Museum, Chandler Historical Society, Chandler Public Library and the City of Chandler, bringing arts, history and culture to Chandler residents and visitors.
