On April 28, 10:30 a.m., the Chandler Downtown Library, located at 22 S. Delaware Street, hosts Mysteries of the Superstition Mountains. For over a century people have been intrigued by stories of the Superstition Mountains. The lost Dutchman Mine of Jacob Waltz is, without a doubt, the most talked about and controversial aspect of these “Mountains of Foam,” but there is so much more to the history and the legends surrounding this area. Explore the mythos and lore that has grown over the years along with up-to-date aspects and theories concerning the area that many Native Americans believe to be a sacred. Presented by Charlie LeSueur, western film historian and co-producer of the online show, “Mysteries of the Superstition Mountains.” For more information visit, www.chandlermuseum.org or call 480-782-2751.
