McCroskey House 100th Birthday

Join Chandler Museum to celebrate the McCroskey House’s 100th birthday! Friday, October 6, 6 – 7:30 p.m.at Tumbleweed Ranch, located at 2250 S. McQueen Road, in the southeast corner of Tumbleweed Park. Built in 1917, the McCroskey House provides a special look at life in the East Valley 100 years ago. Join us for a special evening lantern tour of the house. Stay for cake and live music from Cheryl’s Vintage Jazz Trio. The 600-square-foot kit home was ordered from a catalog and originally located on Pecos Rd., between Price and Dobson Roads. The Edwards, Austin, and McCroskey families lived in the house. Mona McCroskey donated the house to the City of Chandler in 1997. It was moved to Tumbleweed Ranch in 1999 and serves as an experiential learning space for elementary school students visiting the Ranch on field trips. #McCroskeyTurns100 Take a look at the formal invitation.
