Lucia Micarelli

Lucia Micarelli is recognized across the globe for being a featured soloist with Josh Groban, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Barbara Streisand, Chris Botti, and also for her starring role on the critically-acclaimed HBO series “Treme.” The virtuosa will showcase her talent with the strings and her voice when she performs at Chandler Center for the Arts on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. Micarelli’s impressive classical music upbringing started at age 11 when she was accepted into the Juilliard School of Music’s Pre-College Division. Within a year, playing against some of the world's most gifted prodigies, she won the Pre-College Concerto Competition and settled into a routine that would combine instruction with concert appearances at the Hollywood Bowl, Lincoln Center and other prominent international venues. With the recent completion of her third studio album and her career skyrocketing, Micarelli will take the audience on a musical journey –from classical to jazz to traditional fiddle music and Americana – all bound together by her trademark emotional vulnerability and technical wizardry.
