In an exhibition about captured moments, explore the worlds of two Arizona artists using oils to express their perception of the world they see when you weren’t looking. Laura Best takes her inspiration from the desert Southwest and contrasts it with the modern world where “the raw beauty of the desert is abruptly met with concrete.” Cam DeCaussin’s photo realistic works are inspired by “quiet living spaces and their ability to express themes of solace, sadness, separation and contemplation.” Join the Chandler Center for the Arts for an opening reception with the artists on Friday, September 8, 2017, 5 – 7 p.m. Chandler Center for the Arts Gallery is located at 250 N Arizona Avenue, in Chandler. The Gallery is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday, 12 p.m.-5 p.m. More information on the exhibit can be found at chandlercenter.org Photo credit: A lie is often hidden between two truths, Cam DeCaussin
