Charles Phoenix Retro Holiday Jubilee

With a fun-filled, action packed, crazy kaleidoscope of vintage style, be prepared to celebrate the holidays like never before when Charles Phoenix presents his Retro Holiday Jubilee at Chandler Center for the Arts on Friday, November 16 at 7:30 p.m. Following a sold-out performace last year after showcasing an infectious enthusiasm and keen eye for detail, Charles tells stories and shares spirited commentary on antique Kodachrome slides of decorating, dressing up, dining, drinking, gifting and glamming it up for the holidays in the fabulous 50s and swinging 60s. Known as “The Ambassador of Americana,” Charles also shares eye-popping edible centerpieces from his Test Kitchen and his guide to local holiday attractions. All of this in the Bogle Theatre, an intimate theater space inside the Chandler Center for the Arts. Following the performance, Charles will sign copies of his latest book, “Addicted to Americana!” Festive dress is encouraged ... but not expected!
