Chandler’s existing General Plan was first adopted in April of 2016 and was ratified by voters with 85.8% in favor on August 30, 2016. Arizona state law requires general plans to be reviewed and updated every 10 years to ensure continued relevance and service to the community as growth and change occur. This effort is focused on exploring and defining how the city has changed over the past eight years while looking to the future and creating a community-built vision that guides Chandler’s day-to-day decisions more accurately and holistically.
The update process will provide numerous opportunities to engage and share your thoughts on the future of Chandler.
